About Me

I’ve been taking photos professionally for almost ten years and because I have learned so much, and had so much fun along the way, I also teach photography, allowing me to pass on what I know. Digital Photo Magazine loved my lessons and I hope you will too.

I first caught the shutter bug at university where I found the magic of black and white film enthralling and captivating - and the darkroom a particularly great place to stay out of trouble! Despite also studying Politics, I soon realised that my talents were better suited to capturing the world around me, rather than trying to save it.

Today I work for a variety of clients from corporate companies and charities, to individuals, magazines, creatives and small businesses. I also regularly work with some of the big hospitality names in London as well as being the resident photographer for hotcatUK; the social network for the hospitality community.

My pictures can tell you far more eloquently about my work than I can though, so I have hand-picked some of my favourite photographs for you to browse in the Galleries section; please enjoy looking through them and get in touch with your own photography requirements.

When I am not taking photos I'm usually off exploring somewhere new, whether it's a far-flung country, a new spot on Hampstead Heath or a local hidden gem. I adore all that the London social scene has to offer, spend a lot of time talking about, eating & cooking food and try to keep it off my waistline by partaking in a spot of swing dancing.

Motivated by these interests, you'll see in my personal section, my long-term project photographing those involved with the swing dancing scene, as well as some of my favourite travel shots.

Don't forget to sign up to my Soozletter for quarterly updates and become a fan on facebook page to see some of my more recent work. You can also read my Blog and follow my musings and random snaps on twitter.

If you need a photographer and would like to enquire about my rates and services, please contact me and I will be delighted to discuss your requirements in more detail.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Susannah.
